Glenrock Volunteer Maintenance Day wrap up from 14th AugustSubmitted by sammydog on Sun, 15/08/2010 - 10:27 |
Yesterday saw another successful GTA build day on the BJ's travel. The decent sized build crew was met with stunning weather for
Work on the step up - The B-Line ramp is now complete thanks to the importation of soil to fill in the gaping holes between the rock ramp that had been created at the last build day. A little bit of tidying up was also done to the A-Line leaving this section complete.
Creation of Step Down - Some works were also undertaken to improve the flow of the trail and break up some of the straight line sections between the corners. At this point a small step down was created that is completely rollable, or for the really non adventurous, can be completely ridden around.
Rolling the step down to make sure it can be rolled.
Further down the trail some stunning work was done to the exits of one of the right hander berm. The trail has been opened up a little to improve flow and the berm itself reworked.

step dow
That step down works a treat. The line leads into it well, plenty of space for an extra pedal for more speed, straight enough to not need any braking. well done
